This is our family's home away from home.  We really feel that the Lord led us step by step to this house. Because it is our home and not a way to make money, we’ve decided to rent only to friends and family  (and those recommended by friends and family).  By renting, we are hoping to recoup some of the expense of owning a second home, while sharing with others. We pray that God will bring the folks that He wants to enjoy the house.  You can contact us at dozfam7@bellsouth.net 

The house is across from  the Intercoastal Waterway on Holden Beach . It is a short walk to the public beach access. There is also a public beach access with parking very close. We have wagons available to help carry things to the beach. There is a handicapped public beach access, with parking, within a mile of the house.   In the neighborhood, within a block of the house, there is a small pier with picnic area that allows fishing in the waterway. The pier is also handicapped accessible and has a parking area.  There is a boat launch within walking distance.

There are restaurants, treat shops and a post office within walking distance. The pavilion is a few walkable blocks away. There are special events through out the year there, such as weekly outdoor concerts during the summer. 

The house has 5 bedrooms. There are 4 queen size beds, 2 twin beds and a twin daybed with trundle.  It has 3 full baths.(two showers and one shower/tub combo)

There is a private swimming pool in the backyard.

Payment terms: ½ rental rate due 5 months in advance of rental,(or at booking), with remainder to be paid 1 month prior to rental. ($500.00 is non-refundable if you cancel and don’t reschedule)
